How it works
Three sentences in. One right cabin out.
No hundred listings to scroll. Write to us the way you'd tell a friend, and Dottie or Wes writes back.
01
Tell us who's coming
How many, which nights, and what matters: a hot tub with a long view, a game room, a fenced yard, a drive a minivan can climb in January.
02
We match you within the hour
One of us reads it and writes back with the one or two cabins that fit, while the office is open. A person, not a search box.
03
Book direct, arrive to a code
Book with us, not a platform. Check in from 4pm with your own door code, check out by 10am. Two-night minimum.
The cabins
Sixteen cabins. We know every one.

Seasons
Pick your season. We'll pick the cabin.
Every season brings a different crowd and calls for a different cabin. October weekends sell out by August, so start early.
April
Wildflowers
Trillium and phlox along the creek trails, and some of the quietest weeks of the year.
June to August
Fireflies and creeks

Three-night minimum on weekends. They sell out by August.
November to February

Marcus, Charlotte, NC
“Our lab had his own porch bowl. Buckeye's yard is fully fenced, just like they said.”

FAQs
Asked every week.
Anything else? Call or text (865) 555-0128. Dottie or Wes picks up, not a call center.
Do we need four-wheel drive in winter?
Not if you book the right cabin. Before you book a winter stay, we send you which of our cabins have paved, gentle drives, and Bearwallow is paved all the way to the door.
Can we bring the dog?
Yes, at Buckeye: a fenced yard, a dog door and a bowl on the porch. Up to two dogs, $75 a stay.
How clean are the hot tubs?
Every hot tub is drained, scrubbed and refilled between every stay. Not topped up, refilled.
What time can we check in?
From 4pm, with your own door code, so there's no key to pick up. Check out by 10am.
How many nights do we need?
Two nights at every cabin, and three on October weekends and holidays.
Why not just book on a big platform?
Because we know every cabin by name. Tell us who's coming and we'll send the one or two that fit, and you book with us directly.
Tell us who's coming.
One of us writes back within the hour while the office is open, with the one or two cabins that fit.
